There's something intriguing to me about a good amplifier...more than just the sound
it produces. There's complexity, feel, articulation and touch-sensitivity...qualities that make it seem to be alive. And
that unique smell of hot tubes and transformers. A great amp brings out the uniqueness of each guitar and of every guitar
playing style. I call myself fortunate to have been repairing, restoring and building tube amps since 2001...self-taught
in response to the lengthy wait times (3-6 weeks or longer) that my local repair shop was requiring. To date, I have had the
privelege of repairing over 1500 amps, and have built and sold dozens more.
